The scheme will be extended to Government personnel later this year to include Government Ministers, Local Government Employees, Civil Servants and Emergency Services personnel. Proximity to an MOD base or establishment is, therefore, not a necessity.

The money spent within MOD Bases & Establishments is public money - ‘Best Value’ is the directive from the Government.

Armed Forces personnel and their families relocate on a regular basis and the scheme will enable them to identify businesses in a new area and benefit from the discounts on offer to them.
